I went to the school where this took place, for 2 and a half years. I never once felt safe at that school. I used to be bullied because a chick thought I wanted her ‘man.’ She threatened me so many times and got her friends to threaten me and all of my ‘friends’ turned against me. I was scared shitless to walk the campus. Whenever I had to walk a certain way to another building or class, and I knew her or one of her friends were going to be there, I would walk around the opposite side of the building or take a different floor or stairwell. It got to the point where she began following me everywhere. I told my teachers about it and my dean. I KNEW who the chick was. I told them who she was, and they did absolutely nothing about it. The administration literally does not care about most of the students. And once I realized they wouldn’t do anything about it, I began carrying a knife to school. Yeah, it’s illegal, but if my own teachers, deans, and principals wouldn’t do anything to protect me, what else was I supposed to do. I no longer go to that school, but I feel as if Dynasty shouldn’t have gotten expelled for it. He was just protecting himself because they wouldn’t help him. Yes, he could’ve gone to GSA and asked them to help him, but he was probably in fear of rejection by yet again another ‘leader’ on campus.
I pretty much hate the teachers and administration at Tech, so my response may be a little bit biased but whatever.
